This works especially well in multi-let buildings where the cost of waste is split by square footage rented. This system allows the cleaners onsite to weigh the waste and attribute this directly to tenants, this prevents high sq foot low waste volume tenants such as office spaces from paying the lion’s share of the waste bill. This then makes all tenants more aware of the waste they are producing as it will be charged back to them directly.

This system is fully customised to the site and can be easily modified if tenants are to leave or new tenants to join. The information provided by the scales allows sites to see their true numbers, how efficient is the recycling? This can also be a great asset when applying for accreditations with environmental application as it is a sure way to track progress.
